Breakfast Ideas For Toddlers
Breakfast for Toddlers
When you're juggling a marriage, mortgage, work, and kids it can be next to impossible
to come up with a tasty breakfast for toddlers. Matters get much worse if you
are blessed with a toddler with as refined a pallet as mine.
Kids can be finicky which is why I put together this list of delicious meals that your
toddler will enjoy...hopefully.
-
1. Scrables egg whites with toast in the shape of spiders - Place the toast
on the egg whites so they resemble a web. This creative take on a breakfast classic will
make any toddler want a bite.
- 2. Cinnamon and banana pancakes
- 3. Oatmeal with Fruity Pebbles or whatever their favorite cereal is.
-
4. Granola, mango, peach, and apple-topped Greek Vanilla Yogurt - This is actually my favorite
pre-workout snack.
-
5. Cheese Quesadilla - For whatever reason my younger kids don't like chicken or any type of
seasoning in their quesadillas. As such, I've had moderate success with plain quesadillas.
- 6. Mini muffins with cheese and ham
- 7. French toast sticks with maple syrup
- 8. Smoothie bowl with banana and berries
- 9. Peanut butter and banana with Cinnamon over wheat toast
- 10. Peanut butter and banana sandwich
- 11. Veggie and cheese pita pizza
- 12. Breakfast pizza - Use whatever ingredients they like and mozzarella cheese.
-
13. Turkey and cheese stuffed bell peppers - These are high in protein and a bunch of other vitamins. And they actually
taste good. It's essentially a hamburger with a healthier bun.
- 14. Honey Nut Clusters Cereals
- 15. English muffin with scrambled eggs and cheese
- 16. Turkey sausage and whole wheat toast
-
17. Cornbread and Macaroni and Cheese - This may not be a traditional breakfast but it'll get the
job done.
- 18. Greek yogurt with honey and sliced almonds
- 19. Banana and spinach smoothie
- 20. Cream cheese and jelly sandwich
- 21. Quinoa breakfast bowl with fruit and yogurt
- 22. Waffle with peanut butter and banana
- 23. Cottage cheese and fruit salad
- 24. Egg and cheese muffin
- 25. Ham and cheese croissant
- 26. Mini bagel pizzas
- 27. Apple and cinnamon oatmeal
- 28. Mini breakfast burritos with scrambled eggs and veggies
- 29. Whole grain cereal with milk and sliced banana
-
30. Stuffed Sweet potato - Sour cream and cheese are a must but feel free to experiment with
turkey bacon and other meats your kids enjoy.
- 31. Cheese and veggie quesadilla
- 32. Avocado toast
- 33. Blueberry banana smoothie
- 34. Cinnamon raisin toast with cream cheese
- 35. Veggie and cheese pita pizza

44. Banana and peanut butter smoothie - I mix this with my favorite protein powder at least
5 or 6 times a week.
- 45. Cinnamon toast with banana slices
Best Time To Feed Toddler
I've found that the best time to feed toddlers generally is not immediately after they wake
up. My kids are always groggy, cranky, or a terrifying combination of both.
The best time, in my opinion, is about an hour or so after the kid wakes up.
This gives them enough time to move around, interact with their toys or siblings,
and fully wake up.
Feeding your kids is tough for a variety of reasons but breakfast doesn't have to be a struggle every morning.
Granted, you will undoubtedly have some days where food is wasted, vomited onto the table, and/or thrown at you.
But, when you&apo;ve found the right combination of flavors to delight their taste buds, mornings will be
a breeze...at least until you have to contend with the traffic circle in the drop off area of your kid's school.
